Since January 1, 2023, the board of Stichting Drupal Nederland consists of the people listed below. They meet monthly and in-between make contact within various working groups to strengthen the Drupal brand in the Netherlands.
Jean-Paul Vosmeer

Jean-Paul Vosmeer

Jean-Paul (jean-paul-vosmeer) started programming at the age of 6 on a Philips p2000 and later on the Commodore Amiga. While studying higher computer science, he started his company, React online, in 1998. As an online strategist, Jean-Paul helps organizations with their online identity and digital transition. After working with a proprietary CMS for 14 years, he switched to Drupal 7 with React online in 2014. User experience is his priority, both for editors and online visitors.
Floris van Geel

Floris van Geel

Floris (idevit) has been enthusiastic about Drupal since version 5.16. Since 2010 he has been active in the Community and has been involved as lead of the Nederlandse Drupal Training day. He is also active internationally, most recently as co-organizer of drupalironcamp.com As a Drupal entrepeneur at 040Lab, Floris is active in technology and business, he loves chipping away at business models and making them suitable for the internet.
Bert Boerland

Bert Boerland

Bert (bertboerland) has been an active evangelist since the early days of Drupal now more than 20 years ago. He donated the Drupal.org domain to the community, organized two DrupalCons as lead and has been a Board Member of the Drupal Association. Bert is co-founder of the Drupal Netherlands Foundation and co-founder of DrupalJam and has organized more than a dozen of these events. A Business Nerd who can't program, a passionate speaker about the open web and open source who can't be quiet. Bert is a Senior Sales Executive at Suse and a general board member.
Selcuk Demirci

Selcuk Demirci

Selcuk (mr_infinity) Demirci, IT fanatic through and through. Education: Business & ICT. Starting in 2004 he has been developing websites and his own CMSs. During his search to develop efficient, beautiful and secure apps, it was love at first sight with Drupal (and its community). He has been developing Drupal projects since 2010. His mission and passion are to introduce companies and developers to Drupal. He is often told that his enthusiasm is contagious. Maintainer of a number of modules on drupal.org, Selcuk works on large-scale Drupal projects and provides Drupal training. He is responsible for the partner program and marketing for the foundation.
Esmeralda Tijhoff

Esmeralda Tijhoff
Esmeralda (esmeraldabt) Tijhoff taught herself to program and started her own web development company during her history studies. In 2018, she permanently altered her career path as a researcher at the RUG for a start as a Drupal developer at DICTU. She now works at DICTU as a Product Owner on a series of Drupal products for the government.
Esmeralda is also committed to an inclusive Drupal community. Not only must the websites be accessible to all users, but also the knowledge and events within the Drupal community. In order to continue to use Drupal sustainably, she continuously seeks cooperation between the market and government, the end-user and developer, and activist and manager. Furthermore, she is committed to the bond between the various Drupal organizations in Europe and beyond.
Björn Brala

Björn Brala
Björn (bbrala) Brala started his own webshop in retro items in 2003 during his computer science studies and started at SWIS in 2007. As technical director and CISO of SWIS, he provides technical guidance to the company. In 2013 he switched from his own CMS to Drupal with SWIS. Björn is the core maintainer for JSON:API and believes in the power and necessity of unlocking content via APIs. With a passion for APIs, privacy, security and the trusted web, he wants to advocate for an even safer, privacy-friendly Drupal that is part of every serious online landscape.
Bart Vreugdenhil

Bart Vreugdenhil
Growing up with the Commodore 64, his interest in software and technology has never gone away. After studying Business Administration in Rotterdam, Bart was involved in various startups as an IT entrepreneur. He and his development team created various products and services. From personalized television guides with smart recommendation technology for tablet and mobile to web applications for dentists and other healthcare professionals.
After an adventurous period, he joined Finalist in 2022 where he first came into contact with Drupal and its thriving community. He enjoys this so much that he is happy to contribute to bringing Drupal to the attention of the Netherlands as a modern CMS solution and keeping the community going.
Bart currently works as an information analyst. In that role he tries to build bridges between Business and IT. He is happy to use his knowledge and experience for the Drupal Netherlands Foundation.
